Overview Work

Pistacio

Designed and shipped customer-facing growth pages and supporting product experiences for Pistacio to improve clarity, conversion, and launch velocity.

Project premise

Pistacio needed growth surfaces that could explain value quickly without overwhelming first-time visitors. The existing experience carried too much friction between discovery and action.

Challenge

Pistacio needed growth surfaces that could explain value quickly without overwhelming first-time visitors. The existing experience carried too much friction between discovery and action.

Approach

We treated content, structure, and UI behavior as one system. Messaging hierarchy was simplified first, then interaction patterns were iterated in short release loops so each improvement could be validated quickly.

For Pistacio, the mandate was to make positioning and product value understandable within seconds while keeping implementation cycles fast. The engagement combined UX direction, interface implementation, and rapid iteration from real usage feedback. One recurring insight was that conversion improved more from reducing cognitive load than from adding feature detail. Another was that tighter alignment between product story and interface structure made future growth experiments faster, lower risk, and easier to evaluate.

Outcomes

  • Sharper product narrative from first screen to first action.
  • Faster publishing loops for growth experiments and landing updates.
  • Improved conversion confidence through lower cognitive load.

Key learnings

  • Clarity beats feature volume for early conversion.
  • A shared content-and-UI system speeds up growth experiments.
  • Small, frequent UX refinements outperform large redesign cycles.

Process timeline

1

Positioning pass

Mapped audience intent and reduced competing messages into a single hierarchy.

2

Interaction system

Built reusable patterns for CTAs, trust signals, and content transitions.

3

Iteration loop

Shipped in short cycles and adjusted structure based on observed behavior.

Working principles

  • Say less, communicate more.
  • Use structure to remove hesitation.
  • Prefer repeatable UI systems over one-off pages.

Narrative over gallery

This case study intentionally prioritizes context and decision quality over dense visual galleries. The goal is to make the project legible for teams evaluating process fit, not just visual output.
