From consultation to implementation: closing the execution gap
Why operational recommendations fail, and how to turn strategy into shipped systems.
Many consulting outcomes stall because recommendations are disconnected from implementation constraints. The handoff between strategy and execution needs to be designed explicitly.
Start by translating recommendations into concrete system decisions: data sources, interfaces, owners, and rollout order. This creates implementation momentum.
Build in short validation loops. Ship a small operational slice, measure behavior, and iterate before broad deployment.
Documentation should reflect how people actually execute work, not just ideal-state diagrams. Keep runbooks and system notes close to the tooling itself.
The strongest outcomes happen when advisory and implementation live in the same process.
